Most of our greyhounds start their new life at our founder’s property west of Rockhampton — but we can only hold 6 hounds at a time. That’s why fostering is absolutely vital. Every time a greyhound moves into a foster home, it frees up space for another hound to leave the racing system and start their journey to a forever family.
Right now, we have over 40 greyhounds waiting for their chance to come in. By fostering, you’re not just helping one dog — you’re opening the door for the next one, too.
We’re looking for foster carers right across South East Queensland — from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast and Rockhampton and surrounding areas. This gives our greyhounds the very best chance at finding their forever homes, meeting potential adopters, and learning all the joys of pet life.
Fostering truly changes everything for these dogs — and for the next greyhound waiting to come through our gates.
FOSTER
Pete
Date of Birth: 16th February 2024
Sex: Male
Colour: Black
Never raced, this tiny boy is playful and affectionate. He’s friendly with other dogs (including potential for small dogs) and enjoys the company of children.
FOSTER
Angel
Date of Birth: 25th December 2019
Sex: Female
Colour: Brindle
Angel loves to roach, loves zoomies and rolling in the grass. She is a water girl so, a shell pool is a non negotiable. She’s is very sweet and gentle but does need her space at dinner time because she can get snarly if there are other dogs around. (Just protective of her food) She gets along with a female whippet and male greyhound (she’s been off lead with them) and has good recall with her name. She isn’t cat tested. She has been around chickens and does show interest.
FOSTER
Casey
Date of Birth: 5th October 2022
Sex: Female
Colour: Black
Casey loves to zoom at top speed and enjoy her bursts of energy. She’s a quiet girl who is fearful of children and may be best suited to a calm home with working adults.
FOSTER
Scooter
Date of Birth: 25th December 2019
Sex: Male

Scooter is very friendly with all dogs, loves a good zoom, and would enjoy having a playful dog buddy.
FOSTER
Evie
Date of Birth: 14th April 2023
Sex: Female
Colour: Blue Brindle & White
Evie is full of life. She can be a little shy at first, but once comfortable she gets the sillies and shows her playful side.
FOSTER
Rigo
Date of Birth: 8 August 2018
Sex: Male
Colour: Blue
Location: Rockhampton
This handsome noodle is a calm, easygoing soul who truly shines in a quiet, adult-only home. He’s a dream on the lead, strolling politely and soaking up the world at his own relaxed pace. While kids aren’t his cup of tea, he absolutely adores being the centre of attention and would love nothing more than being your one and only, where life is peaceful, predictable, and all the love is just for him.
