✘ Long alone time while he is still settling in

Wombat is a young, stunning, bigger boy who is extremely loving! If you are looking for a greyhound who will smother you with kisses (anywhere where he can land his tongue!)  and loves humans with every fibre of their being ... then Wombat could be the dog for you! 

As well as being very loving, he is also very clever and quite the problem solver (lowish fences are one of the problems that he likes to solve!).  As such, a secure yard with good high fencing (or an apartment with no fencing) is a must for this boy.

 

We think Wombat would do brilliantly in an active, multi-person, multi-dog family who are prepared to include him in their daily activities and adventures.  He loves kids of all ages, but may be too kissy and excitable for tiny little humans. 

Wombat definitely needs a playful doggy friend to be happy and does require additional guidance on meeting dogs in a polite way (but he is getting better every day). He is very smart and both food and toy motivated, which makes training a breeze.
