Star is a lovable, goofy, and cuddly greyhound who’s equal parts sweet and cheeky. He adores being close to his humans and will follow you from room to room like your biggest (and cutest) fan. When he’s not leaning on you for pats or shaking a squeaky toy with pride, you might find him proudly hoarding your slippers, socks or a sneaky pillow – always with a big smile.

He’s affectionate, playful in short bursts (his zoomies are next-level), and settles beautifully when it’s time to relax. He’ll melt into a snooze on a soft bed, cool tile, or your actual bed if you let him (don’t say we didn’t warn you!).

Star has had a bit of a bumpy ride. He was adopted earlier this year but found life without a doggy friend too overwhelming. Since returning to foster care with a calm female greyhound, he’s been rebuilding his confidence beautifully.

Star is food-motivated and eager to please! He’s currently learning commands like “bedtime,” “toilet,” “stay,” and “eat.” He’s polite at mealtimes and loves sardines, cooked veg on a lick mat, and dried chicken. He is improving daily with food manners and will thrive with continued positive reinforcement.

Star enjoys short walks (20 minutes or so), relaxing car rides, and is calm around most sounds. He may get startled by loud, unexpected bangs, but finds comfort quickly. He’s good on lead but can pull a little when excited or if he spots a bush turkey – he’s still learning to refocus with vocal cues.

Star will bring endless joy, laughs, and affection into your life. He’s a leaner, a snuggler, a slipper thief, and a total heart-stealer. He’s made incredible progress and just needs the right forever home to keep shining.
