Joy says YES to:
✔ Walks, yard trots, and little adventures to Bunnings or the café
✔ Plush toys, chewy toys, and anything she can sneak into her mouth
✔ Building her “treasure pile” (sorry in advance for your missing socks!)
✔ Leaning on you for comfort and roaching in the silliest positions
✔ A cosy bed that’s always there waiting for her
✔ Quiet days napping after her morning walk
Joy says NO to:
✘ Separation anxiety — she’s totally fine being left alone during the day
✘ Having no comfy spot of her own — she loves her bed
✘ Empty toy baskets — a girl needs options
✘ Being left out of family life — she wants to be part of it all
✘ Judging her for collecting your things (she thinks it’s cute!)
Meet Joy and yes, she really does live up to her name. This two‑year‑old noodle is a chilled‑out soul with a touch of cheekiness and a heart full of love.
Joy is the kind of hound who takes life in stride. She loves her walks, happily trots around the yard, and finds absolute delight in exploring new places – from the local pet store to a café or even a stroll through Bunnings. Once she knows she can trust you, she’ll go anywhere with you, tail wagging and eyes bright.
At home, Joy is an easy housemate. She’s an inside dog who treasures her bed – as long as her spot is there, she’s happy. She’s not the world’s biggest cuddler, but she loves to lean on you for comfort and will “roach.” (that hilarious greyhound upside‑down sprawl) She’s also a bit of a cheeky collector – if something goes missing, there’s a good chance Joy has taken it to her bed to add to her little “treasure pile,” looking adorably guilty while she does it.
Playtime for Joy means soft toys and anything she can fit in her mouth. She’ll play with pretty much anything, but plushies and long‑lasting chews are her favourites. And while she’s a social girl who’s absolutely fine with other pets and loves humans, she can be just a little awkward when meeting new dogs – but it’s all part of her quirky charm.
She’s great with routine, toilet trained, and quite happy to be left alone during the day – after her morning walk, she’ll pretty much sleep the day away, popping out for the odd yard patrol before curling back up for another nap.
Joy is looking for a home where she can be part of the family, have her soft toys and cosy bed, and continue her gentle adventures. She’s a sweet, funny, and easy dog who will slip seamlessly into the right home – bringing a little bit of mischief, and a whole lot of joy, with her.
