Jenny says YES to:
✔ Little humans (she loves kids!)
✔ Calm doggy friends for company
✔ Being part of ALL the family action
✔ Walks, outings, adventures, Bunnings runs
✔ Squeaky toys… and occasionally children’s toys
✔ Chicken (her absolute favourite)
✔ Homes where someone is around often

Jenny says NO to:

✘ Being shut away behind doors or baby gates
✘ Long hours home alone
✘ Fish‑based kibble (her tummy says no thanks)
✘ Untidy floors full of borrowable shoes and toys
✘ Unsupervised snacks in tiny human hands
✘ Thunderstorms (she needs reassurance)

Jenny is a bright, bubbly, affectionate girl who lives life with enthusiasm, joy, and a very strong opinion about chicken. She’s the kind of greyhound who wants to be part of everything — the action, the cuddles, the snacks, the errands, the family meetings, the Bunnings trips… if you’re going, Jenny is already at the door with her travel bed and a hopeful grin.

She’s a people‑lover first and foremost. Dogs are great (she’s friendly with them, even the small ones), but humans are her true passion. She leans, she forehead‑presses, she wiggles with excitement, and she hands out morning kisses at 6am sharp. Jenny is affectionate, social, and happiest when she’s close to her people.

Jenny is a happy, excitable sweetheart who thrives on company. She’s lived in multiple foster homes since August and has adapted beautifully to each one — as long as she isn’t shut away behind a door or baby gate. She wants to be included, involved, and near her humans.

She currently lives with a foster mum who works from home and a 5‑year‑old child, and she adores them both. She’s gentle with small children, though she will borrow their toys and shoes if they’re left lying around. Floors must be tidy, snacks must be supervised, and visitors must be prepared for enthusiastic greetings while she learns to keep all four paws on the ground.

She sleeps happily on her bed or the couch, moving between the two overnight. She’s an early riser and loves checking if you’re awake at sunrise so she can deliver her signature morning kisses.

Jenny can be left alone for about an hour, or up to three hours with a calm doggy friend. Music, podcasts, or radio help her settle when the humans step out.

Jenny is a passionate foodie. She loves chicken with her whole heart and will work for high‑value treats like a seasoned professional. She’s learning to wait politely for her meals and is practicing “wait” and “OK” before eating.

She will steal food if given the chance — kitchen benches, tables, bags, children’s hands… she’s creative. Chicken and turkey‑based kibble keep her tummy happy; fish‑based kibble does not.

Jenny is a social butterfly. She loves:

  • Walks around the neighbourhood

  • Longer adventures

  • Parks

  • Dog‑friendly shops and cafés

  • Bunnings (a favourite)

  • The beach

  • Dog‑friendly wineries (she’s already been and behaved beautifully)

She settles quickly in the car and often snoozes after a big outing. She can do stairs confidently but prefers not to jump into the car unless bribed with chicken. Jenny is sweet, friendly, and loves meeting people and dogs. She can get a little too excited when greeting other dogs because she wants to play, but she’s gentle and well‑mannered with children.

Jenny is desexed, had a dental clean and polish, and is up to date with her C5 vaccination and ProHeart injection (renewal due August 2027). She’s a regular girl with her toileting and appreciates being shown where her bathroom spot is while learning a new routine.

She loves being groomed and brushed, tolerates baths, and adores being towel‑dried afterwards.
