✔ Living with another doggy friend (or two!)
✔ Cafés, walks & little adventures
✔ Office days or work-from-home life

✔ Easily manages stairs
✔ A home that enjoys a bit of personality (he will sing for you!)

Daz says NO to:

✘ Cats
✘ Being left alone for long stretches without company
✘ Missing out on cuddle time (non-negotiable, according to Daz)

Daz, lovingly nicknamed Monty (yes, like Mr Montgomery Burns… that adorable little overbite gives it away)  is currently in the care of one of our most experienced foster families. And that says a lot, because after fostering many, many greyhounds over the years… they’ve called him their all-time favourite. Big call. Huge.

So what makes him so special?

Daz is the kind of dog who just gets it right. He has the softest, sweetest nature and absolutely adores people — the kind of boy who leans in for affection like it’s his full-time job. He’s beautifully balanced: playful when it’s time for fun, calm when it’s time to relax, and always ready for a cuddle in between.

He lives harmoniously with his current doggy siblings and has that rare social magic — even winning over Greyhound Jasper for cuddles (which, we’re told, is no small achievement). He truly enjoys canine company and would love a home with a doggy friend, especially if his humans are out during the day.

And then… there’s his singing.

Daz has a talent. A voice. Whether he’s joining in with his humans or giving a solo performance, his little roo-ing sessions are equal parts hilarious and heart-melting. Think tiny operatic moments, starring a black greyhound with an overbite and zero shame.

In the home, he’s an absolute dream. Clean, well-mannered, and easy to live with. He walks nicely on lead, travels beautifully in the car, and has even joined his foster dad at work — where he handled the environment like a total pro. He’s also confident with stairs, making him a great fit for a variety of homes.

Daz is the kind of dog who slots into your life and quietly makes it better — more cuddles, more laughs, more little moments you didn’t know you needed.

He’d suit a wide range of homes, from active individuals to families, as long as he gets what he loves most: company, connection, and a cozy place to land at the end of the day.
