Bindi greyhound may be the HAPPIEST, most joyful dog in whole world.  She loves life, people, food, other dogs, cuddles and walks with every ounce of her being. 

Her whole-body wags with excitement whenever she is happy (which is most of the time!) and her tail wags so fast sometimes that it can’t be seen by the naked eye. And yes, she is currently rocking a case of ‘happy tail’ caused by too much vigorous wagging!  She also a very (very) cuddly girl who likes to snuggle in close for kisses and tummy rubs.

As well as being very happy, Bindi is great fun to have around, making everyone laugh with her antics.  She adores toys and is learning how to play with them, rather than just carrying them around. We have recently discovered that she loves to fetch a tennis ball and will happily do this for ages. 

Bindi is very well-socialised, and is currently in foster care foster with two greyhound boys and a bossy pug x. She gets along very well with her foster brothers, including grumpy old Oscar greyhound (who normally hates everyone). 

Bindi is quickly learning not to steal things that don’t belong to her and is very smart, responding well to training and correction.  While counter-surfing tendencies have been mostly curbed while in foster care, Bindi still loves to unpick her foster Mum’s knitting and carry around items that don’t belong to her … but she is definitely working out what is for playing and what isn’t.   

Bindi has mastered the ‘scary stairs’ and sleeps beautifully all night on her bed in the lounge (only waking up after the humans have decided to start their day).  She is also a roaching Queen! 

We think Bindi would suit a wide variety of homes, but would love to see her in a busy, active family where she has a lot of opportunity to get out and be her sociable self. While Bindi seems to love kids of all ages, her fast and furious tail wagging may be a danger to young children’s eyes and faces, so older kids are probably best.  If you think Miss Bindi is the light and joy you are missing from your life … pop in an application!
