Four-year-old Alfie is as soft on the inside as he is on the outside. He is a striking, affectionate brindle boy who loves nothing more than being part of the family and enjoying all of the activities that family life has to offer. He walks beautifully on a lead and likes to say hello to everyone he passes, including people and other dogs of all shapes and sizes.

What makes Alfie extra special is his love for children — if there are kids playing in neighbouring backyards, Alfie just wants to be with them and join in the fun. Alfie LOVES the car and particularly enjoys sticking his head out the window and letting his ears flap in the breeze. He is also partial to café-circuit life and sipping on the occasional puppaccino.

Alfie especially loves hanging out with his teenage human foster sister and gets on really well with his doggy foster sister, Daisy. This boy has no bad habits: he is house-trained, responsive, loves his food, and is generally a very typical, smoochy greyhound.

Alfie would fit into a variety of homes, but we would love to see him in a family of his own — with kids or without — as long as he is allowed to get out and about and socialise with humans and dogs.
