Zorrow is the sweetest big boy with beautiful deep eyes who loves to be with his humans and would happily spend all day and night following you around. He’s also very happy relaxing on his own and can regularly be found on his back on his soft and fluffy bed with his legs in the air, snoozing away. After getting used to his new home and yard, he has been fine being left outside on his own while his humans are away.
Zorrow loves playing, especially with toys that squeak. You’ll often find him throwing them in the air and chasing them around. However, he hasn’t shown a huge interest in running around the yard so he doesn’t need a home with a big garden as long as he has a space to pee and a covered area to lounge about while you are away during the day.
Zorrow loves going for walks and car rides, he’s very excited to explore the world and go on an adventure with his humans. He loves water, especially during the warmer months to cool down. He’ll happily lie down in a clam shell pool to chill or frolic about in a river or the sea. He's definitely a people lover and will be happy to say hello to every soul that crosses his way. He is fine around kids but he does have sleep startle so it is important that his new housemates respect his boundaries and don’t touch him when he is sleeping. He is therefore not suited to a home with small children.
Another thing to know about Zorrow is that he has progressive retinal atrophy. This is a non-painful and not treatable (so no extra vet bills or medication needed for this boy) disease affecting his eyes. Because of this he is blind in his right eye. He can still see through his left eye but has limited sight at night in low light conditions. It is expected that over time he will lose sight in this eye as well and become completely blind.
This means we are looking for a special home for Zorrow with people who can give him a stable home, preferably one without stairs. With sight in only one eye, he struggles with depth perception especially going down, and with the chance of him losing his sight at some point, stairs could pose a risk for him going forward. Zorrow is fine around other dogs, just take care because he can’t always see them coming and with his sleep startle can be spooked. Because of that he is probably best living as an only pet with a family that understands his limitations and helps him when out and about.
That said, Zorrow is a very affectionate boy with a zest for life and such a quick learner, he will quickly adapt to his forever home and will bring you so much love and joy!

Hey, I’m Rigo!
Three years ago I was adopted from Love A Greyhound. Now, I find myself back in the market for new pawrents. No fault of mine, my current folks' circumstances have changed, so I’m looking for a new home!
I'm a big blue boy with big personality - think sassy kitty meets oversized panther! I'm on the hunt for a home that gets me, where I can chill with grown-ups who understand my quirks. I might come off as a grumpy old man, but hey, I just like my space when it's time to eat and nap. I'm cool with other greyhounds but keep us apart during meals and bedtime.
My secret to staying zen? Mum’s magic mix of happy pills that keep me balanced and content. Don't let my meds fool you, though! I'm a happy 5 year old goofball who lives for good food, open spaces for zoomies, adventuring on sniffaris, learning new tricks and of course watching and judging you like a proper kitty.

I was known as the 'Terror of the Kennels' but it turns out that I just wasn't cut out for kennel life.
I strolled into my foster home like I owned the place, plonked myself on the couch and never looked back.
I can be a little bit shy sometimes but I'm generally an adventurous, fun-loving, playful girl. I love cuddles and I'm happy to accept affection from anyone and everyone.
When we're out on adventures, I don't like to stop because it's boring! I'm not really a cafe kind of girl, I'm more of a shop-til-I-drop girl.
At home I love to play with my toys, pester my fur siblings until they play with me or supervise my foster mum at whatever she's doing.
I have sensitive ears so please be gentle when rubbing them and I'm not great at stairs yet but I'm not going to let them beat me.

Clare has a very sweet nature. She can be a bit nervous at first in a new environment and will follow you around everywhere initially until she settles in. She LOVES attention and will trick you into giving her attention without you realising it.
Clare has a very playful side and likes to play with toys and will chase them and throw them around in the air.
It took Clare a little while to adapt to being in foster care however after the initial couple of weeks she gained confidence and became much more relaxed.

Evie is a delightful bundle of happiness, love, and energy. With her soulful eyes, she captivates everyone she meets, radiating genuine joy that’s evident in her constant chatter. When excited, she bounces around with springs in her legs, although she rarely jumps on people.
Evie thrives on walks, so her forever family will need to commit to at least one daily stroll. She enjoys walking 3-5 kilometers each day (split between morning and afternoon) but is also perfectly content with shorter distances—she’s a very adaptable girl. During walks, she takes her time to sniff everything in her path but will move on when you ask her to.
Bedtime with Evie is a dream; she sleeps soundly through the night and stays in her bed until morning, showing great consideration for those who enjoy a sleep-in.
Evie has been living with a 3.5-year-old greyhound named Odie. While Odie is twice her size and seems to tolerate her presence, Evie is just happy to have companionship. She would thrive in a home with or without another dog, as long as she receives plenty of love from her humans.
Since coming into foster care, Evie has seamlessly integrated into indoor life. She is fully house-trained, stands by the door when she needs to go out, remains quiet outside if necessary, sleeps peacefully in the bedroom at night.
Like all greyhounds, Evie has her quirks. It’s worth noting that she seems to have been a Venus flytrap in a past life, so no flies in your home will go un-chomped!
Evie will bring her new family immense joy and love, expressing her gratitude for her new life in every way she can. She truly is the best girl and will be deeply missed by her foster family once she finds her forever home.

Is your heart big enough to care for Jane when hers feels too heavy?
Meet Jane, a spirited girl on a quest for her forever home filled with love and kindness. Jane is searching for a new family because her current foster carers are embarking on a moving overseas next year. They want to ensure that Jane finds a caring and nurturing environment where she can feel safe and cherished.
Jane has a serious heart condition, which means she won’t be with us forever. But don’t let that dampen the spirit of this fantastic girl! Instead, think of it as an opportunity to fulfil her bucketlist! Jane needs someone who can be her loving caregiver, supporting her through both the fun times days and the more challenging moments ahead.
Every morning, Jane greets the day with enthusiasm, eager for her daily 30-40 minute stroll to explore the neighbourhood and catch up on the latest gossip—she’s quite the little social butterfly! As the day winds down, she transforms into a cuddlebug, soaking up all the tummy rubs and ear scratches she can get. While she enjoys her personal space, having someone nearby is her idea of bliss.
Jane is wonderful with kids, and also gets along well with other greyhounds, making her the perfect addition to a family! Her gentle nature allows her to bond seamlessly with little ones, sharing in their playful ways and joining in with her squeaky toy! She’s also quite the adventurer, navigating stairs like a pro and happily sharing the backseat on car rides. For the past five months, she’s thrived alongside a quiet male greyhound and two humans who work from home, and she can comfortably spend 3-4 hours alone without experiencing separation anxiety.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to Jane, you’ll be rewarded with her unwavering love and affection. Together, you can create precious memories and build a bond that will last a lifetime. So, if you think you can be the special someone Jane is waiting for, don’t hesitate—she’s ready to wiggle her way into your heart!

Clover has seamlessly transitioned from Track Life to Lounge Life like a pro. His favourite spot is right beside you, no matter where you are. He has a heart of gold and so much love to give.
He’s fallen in love with lounge chairs—“so comfy,” he says, “Why sleep on dog beds?”
Clover enjoys backyard playtime with soft toys and tennis balls. He’s still working on bringing them back for another throw, so you’ll get your step count up at the same time!
He has loved the company of his foster sister, Scarlet, who has been teaching him how to be a relaxed hound at home. He’s fully toilet trained, knows commands like “on your bed,” “lay down,” and “ah ah,” and sleeps on his own bed in the bedroom. He has been left alone with Scarlet for up to six hours without any issues. Clover would thrive in either an active household or a quiet one; he’s very adaptable.
He’s spent a lot of time with two small children (ages 1 and 4) and is very comfortable around them. He’s up for noisy play, quiet play, or cozy TV time watching episodes of “Bluey” on repeat—especially when sweet biscuits are offered!
Clover loves bath time and enjoys being brushed. He even lets his nails be filed without any fuss. As a tall boy, he likes to see what’s on offer in the kitchen, so a “no kitchen rule” might be best, as he loves to be the sous chef and taste everything!
Sometimes sudden loud noises can be scary for him, and he will seek you out for comfort. Clover is looking for someone to love, and he hopes you are, too!

Meet Roscoe, our charming fawn gentleman.
Roscoe is the epitome of easygoing charm. He loves trips to the markets, leisurely lunches, or even a quick coffee date—he’s basically the canine version of your favourite brunch buddy! He’ll happily lounge by your side, soaking up attention or catching a quick power nap until you’re ready to roll.
While you’re off working hard for the money, Roscoe is more than happy to kick back at home for up to 4 hours. He prefers to do his lounging indoors, where he can get cozy and, being fully house-trained, he’s the perfect tenant—no mess, no fuss. This makes him an excellent apartment hound! He’s a pro at riding the lifts and, on days when he feels like flexing his muscles, he’ll take the stairs.
Now, being a big boy means Roscoe can get a tad too excited when you walk through the door—so families with older kids (12+) would be best. When he hears that magical word “walkies,” he’ll shadow you like a devoted bodyguard until you clip on his leash, after which he cools down and struts his stuff. He walks like a pro on a loose leash and will stop on command—talk about a well-trained hound!
At mealtime, Roscoe is the ultimate gentleman; he’ll eat just about anything and never, ever resorts to stealing from his sister’s bowl. (Such a good boy!)
Brave and unfazed by noisy weather—storms, rain, or thunder don’t faze him one bit—Roscoe is ready for any adventure!

Bingo is a shy and sweet 2-year-old who’s slowly learning to trust and come out of her shell. With a little patience and love, she’s growing more confident every day.
This low-energy girl is happiest snoozing the day away inside. A quick walk around the block is all she needs to stretch her legs. She walks well on a leash and also isn’t a fussy eater. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and has settled right in with her foster siblings, but she’d also do well as an only dog in a quiet home.
As she continues to build her confidence, Bingo’s cuddly side is starting to shine, she enjoys spending quiet moments with those she trusts. Bingo would thrive in a calm, patient home with a family who can show her that the world isn’t as scary as it seems. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion to brighten your days, Bingo is ready to meet you.
To follow Bingo’s journey head over to her foster parents @peachbearluna for the cutest videos of Bingo 😍

Bongo Butt, Compass, Cuddly Boy, Timber. I have so many names- but officially, I go by Justin.
My foster mum thinks I’ll be snapped up quickly and here’s why:
Cuddles are my bread and butter. I can think of nothing better than being up in your space- paws in your lap, head in your neck, or chest, or armpit. If it is possible to get closer, I will. But, if you stop patting me, I’ll wait for a little in case, then move away. I get it- sometimes its not the right time!
I listen. Yes I’ll listen to your worries, hopes and dreams. But I’ll also listen when you ask me to wait, or call my name.
Give me a squeaky toy and I’ll put on a show! I’ll throw it this way and that way, I’ll tip-tap it around, I’ll chew and mouth it- believe me, I will keep you entertained at the same time.
I’m cute. I know it sounds vain to say that about yourself, but you watch my ears flap as I trot and tell me you disagree.
Have I convinced you? My foster mum can give you more details, but look out, because I’ll steal your heart.
P.S. please bring treats, I can’t get enough.

She’s a timid girl and took some time to show her true personality, but together we have learned she is an absolute goofball that loves hanging backwards off the coach, roaching wherever she can fit, going on five minutes of a walk before going “I’m done now”, and playing with ice cubes instead of her toys.
Cinny has made herself at home and is already a beloved member of our little family.
Thank you to LAG and Cinny’s foster mum who we still chat with regularly, for all the support and kindness on our journey.

Gizmo immediately made himself at home and was roaching at the end of the first day with us. He’s settled in well relaxing close to us on his bed surrounded by his toys. He’s an affectionate boy who loves a snuggle. The best part of the day is his morning wake up calls - with a snoot in the face.

He’s already been on a camping trip, taken car rides, visited the beach, and we look forward to making many more memories with him.
We hadn’t initially planned to let him in the bedroom, but now we actively bring his bed in when we call it a night, as he just wants to be close to us—and we love that feeling too. Sven is a wonderful, well-mannered, and adorable greyhound. It took him some time to settle in and adjust to sharing his home and humans with his new sister, Opal. Initially, he felt the need to mark his territory indoors, but suggesting a “Treat for a Pee” outside has helped improve that issue.
The first few nights were very cold, and he howled while sleeping outside, but now he settles down by 7pm and is found sound asleep even in -4 degrees. He is cozy at night and doesn’t seem bothered by the cold.
Opal, being a husky, enjoys being outside, but with Sven indoors, she is spending more time inside, which is a positive.
With the return of sunny days, Sven likes to bask in the sun and alternates between lounging in the house and the backyard, enjoying his retirement.
Special thanks to Christine and Graham for fostering Sven.

Aiko (formerly Lilo) has been adopted!
It has only been 1.5 months since Aiko joined our little family, and she has truly claimed her spot already, both on the couch and in our hearts.
Aiko is a beautiful, affectionate, and very playful little hound.
We love waking up to her positive energy while also appreciating her, and our first hound, Sandy, snoozing together in the evening in front of the television. We’re glad Sandy has now got a sister around for days when we work in the office.
Since Aiko joined us, we’ve also realised our car is a bit too small for two greys. Now, we’re on the hunt for a new one that can fit both more comfortably – that’s when you know you’ve found a keeper!

“Roo came to live with us as a foster dog. After many months of no one else being interested in him, we couldn’t imagine why this might be the case, nor how we might live without him. So we became his forever home.
He wants to be near us, wherever we are – and we really enjoy his company. He has completely made himself at home – and his playful side comes out more and more. Who wouldn’t want to chew up a good piece of cardboard?! These antics – and the looks… I mean – those are eyes to fall in love with. If they aren’t making us smile.
He’s made himself a playmate with a teddy bear that survived R’s childhood. He’s also made himself a couch mate with R (the previous owner of the bear) and they love to cozy up for an evening in. When housemates aren’t around, then the beanbag is a favourite for both resting and a good playfight.
Don’t let the resting pose fool you, this dog loves an energetic outing – the minute the car keys jingle, he is up for an adventure, and we’ve discovered lots of new places in our neighborhood as a result. Last week we took another visit to Bunnings, and he proudly trotted out of the store with a new toy he chose in his mouth. It even made the staff smile.
When H recently was away for two weeks, Roo’s welcome back was a scene of unbounded joy. Just another sign that a match has been made in doggy heaven!
Thanks LAG for being our matchmaker.” - H&R

Cranberry now Poppy
My precious little Poppy is so loving, caring and affectionate. She gazes at me with her beautiful twinkling eyes and my heart just melts. She has the sweetest little temperament and the most delightful personality.
Poppy is so sensitive, so intuitive and so intelligent ... and SO quirky!
Poppy has perfected the ‘flagpole' roach, and the ability to sleep on her sofa, appearing relaxed and comfortable, with the tip of her nose touching the floor ... Without losing her balance.
She LOVES her meals, and within days of adoption had learned her food word. Poppy has now learned to use her car ramp as well as her Dog Dunny. I just need to teach her that ‘not everyone visiting' expects to be welcomed by ‘vertical springs of sheer joy' and a rapidly rotating ‘helicopter tail' that could trim a hedge... (it topiarized my large indoor maidenhair fern beautifully...)
Poppy LOVES playing in her sandpit, as well as strolling beside the river or in her favourite park. She particularly enjoys her river walks, and here she enjoys watching the activity on the river be it City Cats, Kitty Cats, the birdlife or the activity and scents emanating from the prawn trawler.
Poppy does not bark... Ever!... (And neither did my beloved Tessa, my rescued greyhound who heartbreakingly passed 12th. February). Upon passing a yappy little dog on one of our river strolls, who barked at us from the time we came into view until we disappeared from view, Poppy gazed up at me with her adoring eyes and a look that said 'Aren’t you SO glad you adopted a greyhound, Mummy!'... 'I most certainly am, Poppy! A rescued greyhound is the BEST breed! ', I responded with a loving, knowing smile...
So many thanks and much appreciation, Jo and Yumi, for bringing us together!

She loves her two walks a day. I've given up with trying to get her to sleep in one of her many beds at night so I now pretzel myself around her on my bed. She's really playfully in busts of energy between naps. She loves her toys especially to push off the balcony and the neighbour kindly throws back up for her. She makes me laugh every day even when I left a bag of paper rubbish accidentally in reach so came home to Cilla made confetti EVERYWHERE!! Could not imagine life without her.

We adopted Billy almost 4 years ago. Не
loves goobering with soft toys, doing mad zoomies, snuggles, and getting burped by his Ma after meals. Kitty adopted us 2 1/2 years ago.
She loves food (especially chimken and gluten-free donuts), ear rubs, and absolutely adores her Dad. These 2 noodles have brought us so much love and joy

Phoebe, or Princess Phoebe! is wonderful to have in our home, bringing lots of joy. She is of course a great bench surfer and our bench has never looked so tidy! She loves her sniffaris, faster walks and particularly enjoys meeting people.
She has her eyes on the bed, particularly when it is cold, and tries to weasel her way inside the sheets - a step too far. She enjoys tossing her toys around for short periods and investigating all the nooks and crannies in the house!
She is very well behaved with visitors and has been a cafe hound without a problem! We wouldn’t be without her.

The day I picked Snowy up from his trainer I knew that he wouldn’t be going too far! He’s the most gentle loving boy and has fitted right in with the other hounds.
His favourite things to do are to follow his sister around the garden to see what there is to get up to and squeak squeak squeak those toys He loves a good roll on the fresh green grass.
Snowy loves trying new food, fruits and vegetables and toast or whatever we are having. Toilet training is ongoing but we just love him, he’s so cuddly
. He likes to be close to his big brother Isaac at night often snuggling up beside him. I hope we have many good years with this handsome loving boy
